Workday HCM Analyst, HR

Job Description

We are seeking a Workday HCM Analyst to serve as the primary functional administrator and system owner for Workday HCM modules, including Core HCM, Compensation, Absence, Benefits, and Recruiting. This involves leading the design, configuration, and maintenance of Workday business processes, condition rules, calculated fields, eligibility rules, security roles, and system workflows. You will manage tenant configuration changes across environments for HCM (Sandbox, Implementation, and production) and ensure proper testing, documentation, and deployment with oversight from the ZAS Workday Administrator. This includes testing and validating system configurations during implementation phases, performing mass data updates, data loads, and system maintenance using tools such as Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB). Furthermore, you'll establish and execute proactive audit frameworks for identifying risks, data integrity issues, compliance gaps, and process inefficiencies. You'll design, govern, and deliver complex reports, dashboards, and analytics that inform decision-making, workforce strategy, compliance, and operational planning for HCM. This position requires analyzing HR data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities related to workforce planning, compensation, turnover, compliance, and operational efficiency. You will also make recommendations for the development or modification of systems, processes, and reports that may improve overall company performance and collaborate with the WD Administrator to ensure governance of system and data.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field 2. Workday Pro Core HCM 3. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience supporting an HRIS platform, preferable Workday 4. Hands-on experience with Workday HCM functionality, including configuration, business process frameworks, security roles, and reporting 5. Strong understanding of HR processes and data management 6. Advanced experience translating complex HR and business data into actionable insights using reporting, analytics, and visualization tools 7. Technical acuity and working knowledge of HRIS systems (Workday preferred) and other employee data management systems 8. Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee data, compensation, and benefits information. 9. Thorough knowledge of MS Office tools and applications
