WordPress Security Audit – Hardening Specialist

Job Description

Seeking a WordPress Security Audit & Hardening Specialist to assess the security of 3 live WordPress sites, address vulnerabilities, and establish a robust security baseline. This role involves conducting comprehensive security audits, identifying risks, eliminating malware, securing admin access, hardening WordPress configurations, and configuring Cloudflare protections. The specialist will also establish backup processes, updating protocols, and basic monitoring/logging practices. The role delivers a detailed security audit report, summary of remediated issues, and a hardened, secure live environment with clear documentation and recommendations.

Qualifications

1. Proven experience in securing WordPress sites, beyond basic building. 2. Ability to detect and remediate compromised WordPress environments. 3. Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and web security best practices. 4. Hands-on experience with Cloudflare (WAF, DNS, SSL). 5. Proficiency in WordPress security hardening and Stripe API integrations.
