Web Developer

Job Description

Seeking a Web Developer to enhance and debug our website, client portal, and data entry system. You will design and implement new web pages, optimize website speed, accessibility, SEO, and UX. The role involves troubleshooting and resolving issues in a large PHP codebase, improving frontend functionality using JavaScript, and maintaining email code and design. Ensuring branding consistency, advocating for improved functionality and user experience, and maintaining project notes in project management software are also key responsibilities.

Qualifications

1. Proficiency in JavaScript and CSS. 2. Experience with PHP, jQuery, and Linux command line prompts is a plus. 3. Knowledge of standard git practices. 4. Ability to write clear, maintainable, understandable code. 5. Proficiency in design and layout. 6. Understanding of UI/UX principles and ability to explain design decisions. 7. Experience with design tools such as Adobe Suite and Figma. 8. Familiarity with CMS platforms such as WordPress or Joomla. 9. Ability to critically assess AI-based solutions. 10. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. 11. Ability to advocate for system architecture choices. 12. Minimum of 3-5 years of professional Web developer experience.
