Job Description

Join our team as a Web Designer! You will be responsible for: - Designing and coding monthly publications. - Creating and coding monthly E-newsletters. - Website creation and ongoing maintenance. - Designing new advertisements for our clients. - Producing web and email videos. - Creating animated ads. - Conceptualizing innovative web designs. - Designing and updating WordPress themes. - Focusing on UX/UI for the Optic dashboard and future applications. - Developing Optic print collateral. - Creating Optic Trade Show Collateral. - Designing Social Media Collateral. - Designing Client social media collateral.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have: 1. 1-3 years of experience working with WordPress. 2. 1-3 years in web development and design. 3. An Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree or Certificate equivalent - preferably in art, graphic design, web design, or a related field. 4. Previous experience working at a marketing/advertising agency. 5. Ability to remain calm under pressure. 6. Excellent organizational skills. 7. Outstanding skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, and XD. 8. Solid understanding of web design best practices. 9. Experience creating online advertisements. 10. Knowledge of user experience principles. 11. Knowledge of web standards, optimization techniques, and web design best practices. 12. Proficiency in HTML and CSS. 13. Familiarity with open-source CMS platforms such as WordPress. 14. A solid grasp of website development and UI/UX basic principles. 15. Familiarity with Bootstrap or FLEX for responsive web design. 16. Familiarity with web standards and cross-platform, cross-browser compatibility issues. 17. Experience in developing and testing across multiple browsers and devices. 18. Previous experience in the home service industry (bonus). 19. Previous experience in e-commerce (bonus).
