Web Analyst – Web Data and Analytics

Job Description

Seeking a Web Analyst to extract actionable insights from Best Egg's customer journeys across various channels. Responsibilities include creating visualizations, building reports/dashboards for ad-hoc inquiries and overarching business objectives, and tagging within Segment to enhance data capabilities. The role involves building web data and analytics funnel reports in Mode, supporting stakeholder OKRs, and analyzing A/B testing results. This analyst will contribute to establishing marketing attribution, conversion, and LTV metrics, as well as becoming proficient in analytics tools such as Tealium, FullStory, Amplitude, Mode, and Snowflake. The analyst will collaborate with the Director of Digital Analytics to enhance the Analytics Center of Excellence and establish best practices for analytics schema, taxonomy, governance, and audit/debugging processes. Furthermore, the analyst will engage with diverse stakeholders to define reporting metrics and KPI benchmarks for new product feature releases, funnel success metrics, and overall conversion and marketing KPIs.

Qualifications

1. 3-5 years of web analytics experience. 2. Bachelor’s degree in Business Intelligence, Marketing Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field; Master’s a plus. 3. Familiarity with tag management tools (Tealium, GTM, Segment) preferred. 4. Knowledge of digital analytics tools (Amplitude, Fullstory, Mixpanel, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Heap). 5. Background with BI tools like Mode, Looker, Tableau. 6. Technical background highly desired. 7. SQL skills preferred. 8. Experience with reporting tools like Power BI, Tableau, Data Studio preferred. 9. Team-first mentality. 10. Willingness to learn from mistakes. 11. Ability to work independently and as a team member. 12. Excellent communication skills.
