Vice President, Member & Provider Operations – Health Plan
Job Description
Centene is seeking a Vice President of Member & Provider Operations to lead business operations and procurement for the healthcare plan. This role involves strategic vision, policy development, and operational oversight. Responsibilities include monitoring action plans, directing operational processes, and managing budgets. The VP will oversee new business implementation, evaluate program effectiveness, and serve as a liaison between the business unit, corporate, and external stakeholders, ensuring financial integrity and control.
Qualifications
1. Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accountancy, or a related field. 2. A Master's Degree is preferred. 3. Requires 9+ years of experience in operations, management, or administration within the Healthcare or Insurance industry. 4. Experience in business development and/or Request for Proposal (RFP) is preferred. 5. Extensive knowledge of state legislative and regulatory processes is preferred.
