Trade Shows and Events Specialist
Job Description
The Trade Shows and Events Specialist will be responsible for the comprehensive event operations and logistics for the Health Information Systems (HIS) event portfolio. This includes overseeing booth assets and inventory, coordinating shipping/freight and labor, managing exhibitor services, handling promotional materials, and ensuring onsite readiness. The role also involves standardizing processes, managing logistics vendors, tracking spending and documentation, and completing post-event closeout and asset reconciliation. Additionally, the specialist will support sales and event stakeholders by coordinating meeting rooms, demo logistics, staffing readiness, and event calendars.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or Business. 2. 5+ years of experience in trade shows, events, or field marketing operations with ownership of logistics. 3. Alternatively, a High School Diploma/GED with 9+ years of relevant experience will be considered. 4. Experience working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, vendors, finance, and compliance teams. 5. Strong organizational, project management, and execution skills. 6. Willingness to travel as required for events.
