Territory Manager
Job Description
Join our team as a Territory Manager and play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence within the water distribution industry. You will be responsible for: 1. Promoting our innovative product lines to end-users, securing favorable specifications. 2. Providing comprehensive support to our established distributor network, including quotations, training, technical assistance, and inventory management. 3. Conducting product training sessions to highlight the advantages of our products and strengthen our competitive edge. 4. Cultivating strong relationships with distributors and end-user personnel to drive product demand. 5. Establishing sales targets and specification goals aligned with the company's sales budget. 6. Identifying and capitalizing on significant bid opportunities, offering complete project solutions. 7. Delivering exceptional after-sales support, including warranty and claims management. 8. Actively participating in trade organizations to promote our product offerings. 9. Maintaining an up-to-date database of end-users within your assigned territory. 10. Providing accurate monthly sales forecasts and market overviews to leadership.
Qualifications
To succeed as a Territory Manager, you should possess: 1. A minimum of two (2) years of outside sales experience in the water distribution industry or a related field. 2. Comfort and proficiency in selling technology-based sales solutions and platforms. 3. Experience with CRM software and other productivity tools. 4. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record. 5. The ability to travel extensively (approximately 75% of the work schedule). 6. The capacity to manage a large geographical sales territory. 7. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint programs. 8. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. 9. Comfort and confidence in delivering presentations to large groups. 10. Physical capability to stand and present for extended periods. 11. Ability to lift over 40 lbs for product demonstrations. 12. A bachelor's degree in a related field (business, engineering, or communications preferred).
