Territory Business Manager

Job Description

Seeking a Territory Business Manager to oversee Zoetis's Beef business in eastern South Dakota. Responsibilities include engaging with Stocker/Backgrounders, Cow/Calf producers, Veterinarians, Dealers, and Distributor Representatives. Identifying the differences between Zoetis products and competitors' offerings. Delivering educational training and showcasing selling skills at both accounts and producer seminars. Cultivating relationships and exerting influence within vital trade channels, encompassing veterinarians, distributors, extension services, and university staff. Handling a vast geographical area with a varied customer base to meet sales goals and business objectives. Conducting territory planning and prioritizing through data analysis. Collaborating and functioning as a team member. Undertaking additional duties and responsibilities as required and instructed.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) or equivalent experience. 2. Master's degree in animal science or equivalent is advantageous. 3. Minimum 6 months cattle experience for Associate Territory Business Manager. 4. Minimum 3 years cattle experience for Territory Business Manager. 5. Animal Health knowledge and Beef industry expertise are favored. 6. Willingness to travel overnight approximately 25% of the time, including weekends. 7. Extensive product and disease knowledge. 8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 9. Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
