Territory Account Manager

Job Description

Drive service sales by proactively working with customer accounts across various segments and industries. Generate service and aftermarket sales opportunities from the installed base of motors, generators, and drives. Promote value-adding solutions to customers and engage in consultative selling to build long-term customer relationships. Capture the potential of the installed base by promoting a portfolio of value-added solutions. Execute structured sales activities focusing on established accounts combined with hunting for opportunities with new accounts. Define and execute account plans to penetrate target industries and accounts while building and maintaining key customer relationships. Collaborate across ABB divisions, portfolio management, and tendering teams to develop winning proposals and participate in negotiations for key projects.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant work experience. 2. Experience in Business to Business sales, selling a technical product or solution. 3. Proven ability to manage full-cycle sales and strategic accounts. 4. Strong knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives, electric Motors & Generators, and related applications. 5. Candidates must already have a work authorization to work for ABB in the US. 6. Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory (up to 70%). 7. Proficiency in Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office; fluent in English.
