Job Description

As a Technical Writer at Five Below, you will collaborate closely with the internal team to grasp project details and documentation needs. Your core responsibility involves producing top-notch technical documents that align with our organization's quality benchmarks and cater to the intended audience. You'll work with developers and designers to scrutinize product samples. You will be tasked with creating easy-to-understand instruction manuals, developer guides, and online help resources. Assist end-users in mastering the product by crafting tutorials. Conduct thorough analyses of existing content, repurpose materials, and implement necessary revisions. You will also develop and update technical design specifications, information architecture, and test scripts.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. 2. Proven experience as a technical content writer or in a similar role. 3. Strong grasp of technical concepts. 4. Ability to translate complex technical information into easily digestible content. 5. Experience creating instruction guides for end-users. 6. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. 7. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite. 8. Familiarity with software development and SDLC methodologies.
