Job Description

As a Technical Support Engineer, you will: - Provide technical support (L1/L2) to customers using ticketing systems, email, and phone calls. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in collaboration with customer teams and internal engineers. - Support the installation, configuration, and upkeep of Linux-based systems. - Assist in analyzing system performance and pinpointing potential issues. - Maintain clear and professional communication with customers, adhering to established processes. - Contribute to internal and external knowledge bases and enhance documentation.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess: 1. Business-level Japanese proficiency (JLPT N2/N1 or native). 2. Intermediate level or higher English skills (for internal communication). 3. A keen interest in IT, cloud infrastructure, or Linux systems. 4. Basic understanding of operating systems or networking principles. 5. Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to learning. 6. Experience with Linux (academic, personal, or professional) is a plus. 7. Basic networking knowledge. 8. Experience with troubleshooting or monitoring tools is advantageous. 9. IT certifications (LPI, LPIC, Red Hat, etc.) are preferred.
