Technical Sales Manager

Job Description

As a Technical Sales Manager, you will: - Collaborate with Architects, Engineers, and Contractors to generate specifications. - Accurately log all specifications within the CRM system. - Track specifications from initial generation through confirmed sales orders. - Deliver engaging CPD presentations using PowerPoint. - Provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting expertise. - Support the Visqueen National Training Academy. - Proactively identify new opportunities to drive specification generation. - Manage territory activity, diary planning, and tasks using Outlook and the CRM platform. - Commit to ongoing professional and personal development. - Contribute to the delivery and implementation of New Product Development (NPD) programs. - Work collaboratively with the commercial team.

Qualifications

To succeed as a Technical Sales Manager, you'll need: 1. Proven experience in construction or specification sales. 2. Strong account-management capabilities. 3. Excellent communication and presentation skills. 4. Solid understanding of construction methods, procedures, and industry terminology. 5. High self-motivation and a proactive approach. 6. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload. 7. A collaborative team player mindset. 8. Broad and transferable skill set. 9. Confidence, articulate communication, and effective presentation abilities. 10. High-level IT literacy, including proficiency in CRM systems, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. 11. Strong technical understanding of construction processes and drawings. 12. Detailed knowledge of the specification process. 13. Willingness to work towards achieving the CSSW qualification.
