Technical Sales Engineer – Cutting Tools
Job Description
Seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to manage and expand business with end users and distributor partners. This role involves consulting with customers to deliver metal cutting solutions suited to their manufacturing needs. Responsibilities include developing new business, maintaining strong relationships with existing accounts, and regular travel (50-60%) within the territory to engage with customers and partners. The role requires a balance of technical solution selling, territory planning, sales administration, and reporting.
Qualifications
1. Requires 5-7 years of technical sales or consultative experience within manufacturing or distribution. 2. Must possess a strong technical understanding and experience with metal cutting or manufacturing solutions. 3. Capable of working independently in a home or virtual office. 4. Skilled in qualifying, demonstrating, and influencing customers. 5. Must be proactive, self-directed, results-oriented, with a solution-driven mindset. 6. Willing to travel extensively in the region and surrounding areas. 7. Must reside within the assigned geographic territory.
