Technical Project Manager – UAT
Job Description
Take the lead in comprehensive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) from start to finish, overseeing planning, execution, and ensuring sign-off. Develop and maintain detailed test plans and cases using Azure DevOps, or similar platforms. Orchestrate UAT kickoffs, tester onboarding, and progress tracking. Closely monitor testing progress, handle any defects that arise, and guarantee timely resolutions. Coordinate daily release activities, including readiness verifications and dependency management. Work closely with Engineering during System Integration Testing (SIT) and release validation to uphold quality and completeness. Serve as the main contact during releases, providing regular status updates, highlighting potential risks, and offering mitigation strategies. Proactively track and manage risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating them when necessary. Foster operational readiness by overseeing training, access protocols, communications, and comprehensive documentation. Uphold UAT and release documentation, ensuring test plans, defect logs, release trackers, and status reports are well-maintained. Organize and lead productive cross-functional meetings and working sessions across various global time zones.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field. 2. 5-7 years of experience in program or project management, specifically supporting enterprise technology implementations. 3. Over 5 years of hands-on experience in Release Management and UAT execution. 4. 5+ years of experience utilizing Azure DevOps or similar tools for efficient test management and defect tracking. 5. Extensive experience (5+ years) in enterprise systems testing, including ERP, procurement, finance, or operations systems. 6. Over 5 years of technical writing experience, creating test plans, release documentation, and detailed reporting. 7. Demonstrated success working in intricate, cross-functional environments. 8. Exceptional organizational skills, with a proven ability to manage timelines, dependencies, and priorities effectively. 9. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
