Technical Project Engineer
Job Description
Assume the lead in comprehensive implementation projects, typically lasting 30-90 days, managing everything from the initial kickoff to the final go-live and hypercare phases. You will handle 1-2 client implementations concurrently, contingent on workload, ensuring projects stay on track. Your responsibilities include scoping projects, defining requirements, and architecting solutions in close collaboration with clients. You will be responsible for configuring and deploying advanced CCaaS and UCaaS platforms such as Zoom, Five9, Genesys, and Dialpad. Manage all technical aspects, including number porting, routing configurations, system provisioning, and overseeing UAT testing. Support and configure APIs and connected systems. You will also facilitate client onboarding, deliver training sessions, and lead implementation workshops, acting as the primary point of contact for clients during the implementation lifecycle. Coordinate closely with internal teams—IT, project managers, and support—to guarantee successful delivery and a seamless transition to vendor support or operations teams post-launch. Creating and maintaining detailed implementation documentation, onboarding guides, and technical playbooks. Proactively identify implementation risks, solve deployment challenges, and provide real-time solutions.
Qualifications
1. Proven experience with CCaaS and/or UCaaS platforms such as Zoom, Genesys, Five9, and Dialpad. 2. A solid grasp of system configuration, telephony setup, and call flow design. 3. Hands-on experience with integrations, APIs, and technical implementation workflows. 4. A background in SaaS onboarding, technical consulting, or implementation engineering. 5. Exceptional problem-solving skills and a systems-thinking mindset. 6. Ability to oversee intricate implementation timelines and manage multiple stakeholders efficiently. 7. Highly organized with keen attention to detail. 8. Comfortable troubleshooting technical issues during live implementations. 9. Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal. 10. Capable of leading client-facing calls, workshops, and training sessions with confidence. 11. Customer-focused, empathetic, and solution-oriented. 12. Ability to work independently in a remote, cross-functional environment. 13. Robust documentation skills to translate complex technical processes into clear, understandable guides. 14. Background in backend workflows for operational processes. 15. Familiarity with automation testing and data extraction from structured documents. 16. Experience working in startup or remote operations environments. 17. Knowledge of HIPAA-compliant processes or healthcare operational workflows.
