Job Description

As a Technical Program Manager, you will be the strategic leader of the engineering operating system. Your responsibilities include owning the health, configuration, and insights derived from Jira and Jellyfish tools. A key objective is ensuring leadership has a clear understanding of engineering investment, velocity, and overall health. This involves designing, building, and maintaining intricate workflows and automation rules within Jira Cloud on a large scale. You'll map Jira signals to Jellyfish allocation buckets and standardize issue types and field usage across more than 20 squads. Leveraging Atlassian Intelligence for reporting purposes will be essential. Furthermore, you will measure the impact of AI coding assistants on delivery times and code quality, integrate AI agents for workflow automation, and monitor metrics to pinpoint systemic bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications

1. Requires 5+ years of experience in Engineering Operations (EngOps), Program Management, or a data-intensive engineering role. 2. Must possess expert-level administration skills in Jira Cloud. 3. Requires power user proficiency in Jellyfish. 4. Deep understanding of Agile metrics and Engineering Investment categories is essential. 5. Strong knowledge of DORA metrics (Deployment Frequency, Lead Time for Changes, Change Failure Rate, and Time to Restore Service) is necessary. 6. Advanced proficiency in Jira Automation and JQL is a must. 7. Foundational knowledge of the SDLC process, Scrum, and SAFe methodologies is required. 8. Must be comfortable utilizing AI agents and LLMs for data analysis and scripting tasks.
