Technical Product Development Manager

United States – Remote Full-Time$85k - $110k /year

Job Description

As a Technical Product Development Manager at Nood, you'll steer end-to-end development pipelines for both device and skincare programs. This includes crafting detailed timelines, meticulously maintaining project files, facilitating vendor communications, building comprehensive risk registers, and documenting decision logs. Your pivotal role will involve managing the device development critical paths, from the initial stages of industrial design through tooling, rigorous engineering validation, thorough testing, essential certification processes, and the crucial first production run. You'll oversee our international manufacturing partners, expertly handling all technical correspondence, efficiently processing change orders, and swiftly resolving any escalations that may arise. Coordination is key, as you'll work closely across industrial design, mechanical/electrical engineering, firmware development, packaging design, and quality assurance teams. You will be responsible for resolving and escalating any cross-functional conflicts as needed. On the skincare front, you'll lead development timelines, ensuring comprehensive coverage of formulation, rigorous stability and compatibility testing, innovative packaging solutions, robust claims substantiation, and thorough regulatory reviews. Managing contract manufacturer relationships will also be a core responsibility, including detailed briefing, consistent follow-up, proactive escalation when necessary, and driving data-backed vendor communications with clear, non-negotiable deadlines. To ensure smooth project execution, you'll maintain comprehensive project documentation, including detailed briefs, meticulous trackers, precise spec sheets, live Gantt charts, thorough meeting notes, clear decision logs, and actionable item lists. Proactively identifying potential risks, flagging issues early on, and providing well-thought-out recommended paths forward to leadership and the CEO will be vital to your role.
