Lead the strategic technical direction as a Technical Director, championing architectural best practices, software development standards, and the integration of cutting-edge technologies. Take ownership of pivotal design and delivery decisions. Serve as a trusted advisor to top-level executives, translating business objectives into practical technical strategies and crafting customized solution proposals. Supervise technical execution, ensuring superior quality, scalability, and maintainability. Manage project health, preemptively address risks, and secure successful project outcomes through proactive leadership. Collaborate with resourcing teams to secure top talent for projects. Cultivate a culture of excellence, provide mentorship, and encourage innovation throughout the teams. Optimize resource allocation, manage project burn-down, and identify revenue-generating opportunities while maintaining strict financial accountability. Stay at the forefront of industry advancements, contribute to open-source initiatives, and actively participate in public speaking, blog contributions, and mentorship programs.
Qualifications
1. Possess 15+ years of proven technical leadership experience, preferably in consulting, SaaS, or large-scale digital transformation projects. 2. Demonstrate expertise in software architecture, cloud platforms, and current development practices. 3. Possess a strong record of guiding technical decisions on complex, high-impact projects. 4. Experience leading pre-sales, discovery, and solution design discussions. 5. Demonstrate the ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to a diverse audience. 6. Possess a consultative mindset, with the ability to align business requirements with technical strategies. 7. Possess strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills to influence at all levels. 8. Demonstrate hands-on experience with AI, databases, distributed systems, and modern software engineering practices. 9. Experience leading and mentoring senior software development teams. 10. Show passion for continuous learning, innovation, and professional excellence.
