As a Technical Architect, you will spearhead the technical application design for Acquia's clientele, directing technical teams composed of top-tier professionals in the Drupal and web development spheres, encompassing both Acquia's talent and our esteemed global partners. Your role involves enabling Acquia's diverse clientele, spanning government, consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, gaming, and media sectors, to leverage the full potential of Drupal, open-source technologies, and emerging AI-driven web innovations. Acquia's team of Drupal experts empowers clients to craft immersive web experiences, facilitate migrations to Drupal, and integrate intelligent automation for refining and enhancing their Drupal implementations. With Drupal's expanding role as a versatile web platform and the escalating need for AI-enhanced content workflows and personalized user experiences, our Technical Architects are highly sought after. They engage with premier technologists and cutting-edge web projects, with tasks ranging from bespoke coding and mentorship to architecting AI-powered search and metadata solutions, all the way through development and deployment.

Qualifications

1. Quickly adapt to project demands, including setting up local and cloud environments for personal use. 2. Possess familiarity with standard development tools like Git, Composer, Drush, Drupal VM, Lando, DDev, Cloud IDEs, and AI-assisted coding platforms such as GitHub Copilot and Cursor. 3. Contribute to code reviews within your area of expertise, ensuring superior quality and robust security in both human and AI-generated code. 4. Assist in backlog refinement and project planning within your specialized domain. 5. Be prepared to engage in development activities for delivery projects, leveraging your specific expertise. 6. Capable of leading straightforward projects in your area of specialization, including assessing AI modules and third-party LLM integrations. 7. Adept at basic debugging in your area of expertise and crafting effective AI diagnostic prompts. 8. Develop code that aligns with industry standards, community guidelines, and Acquia's best practices. 9. Exhibit a passion for continuous learning and exploration, demonstrating self-direction and resourcefulness in finding answers. Stay informed about the evolving Generative AI landscape and its effects on CMS architecture. 10. Demonstrate strong technical knowledge in your area of expertise. 11. Contribute to designing technical solutions that fulfill customer requirements. 12. Prioritize attention to detail, fostering focus among team members and eliminating project distractions. 13. Independently investigate and resolve technical challenges. 14. Capable of participating in direct communication with customers. 15. Foster positive relationships with both customers and delivery teams. 16. Conduct productive and professional meetings, presentations, and training sessions using online platforms like Zoom or in person.
