Team Staffing Specialist

Job Description

American Veterinary Group is looking for a Team Staffing Specialist to identify practice manager and support staff talent through various sourcing methods, including resume databases, directories, practice websites, and social media. The Specialist will: - Identify practice manager and support staff talent by sourcing resume databases, directories, practice websites, social media profiles, and testing extensive name generation techniques. - Generate a pipeline of interested candidates via targeted email campaigns to both passive candidates and prior applicants. - Conduct virtual screens with prospective candidates to understand technical skill level, position alignment, and scheduling availability. - Contribute to the maintenance, accuracy, and growth of the candidate database/CRM (Lever). - Provide market intelligence on market trends and research with Recruiting Team. - Collaborate with our Recruiting Team to continuously evolve our capabilities and identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency, quality of work, and lead conversion rate.

Qualifications

To qualify for the Team Staffing Specialist role: 1. Have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a veterinary technician and veterinary practice manager. 2. Licensed/Registered/Credentialed Technicians (LVT/RVT/CVT) preferred. 3. Proactively manage deadlines and deliver results with quick turnaround times. 4. Possess an entrepreneurial mindset and take ownership of responsibilities. 5. Work independently with little direction; comfortable in ambiguous environments. 6. Demonstrate strong written communication skills with proper grammar and spelling. 7. Think 'outside of the box' and create staffing plans for hospitals. 8. Handle rejection in a competitive labor market. 9. Pivot focus and priorities based on the changing needs of veterinary practices. 10. Ability to travel on a limited basis (up to 10%).
