Job Description

Akamai is seeking a Systems Engineer II to provide expertise in Secrets Management solutions. Responsibilities include onboarding and integrating applications, coordinating with application owners and vendors, and providing technical support. The engineer will design and implement Secrets Management services ensuring scalability, robustness, and performance optimization. This role also involves ensuring seamless integration and testing of systems, guiding staff, and staying updated on IT trends to implement emerging technologies effectively.

Qualifications

1. Requires 4+ years of hands-on experience in IAM Secret management with an educational background in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 2. Experience with enterprise secret management solutions such as CyberArk EPV, CyberArk Secrets Management Suite, Hashi Vault is essential. 3. Expertise in diagnosing, resolving, and debugging complex issues related to Secrets Management. 4. Expertise with source control systems (e.g., Git), configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible), Windows scripting, and Linux/Unix authentication modules. 5. Expertise in One Identity Active Roles Server (ARS) configuration and engineering, alongside knowledge of ITIL frameworks, processes, and procedures. 6. Proven ability to collaborate efficiently with technical teams, business units, HelpDesk, Desktop Support, IT developers, analysts, and end users.
