Systems Analyst

Job Description

Engage in analyst activities overseeing concurrent projects, assessing current and potential system capabilities, and investigating alternative solutions. Participate in collaborative application design meetings with clients and IT personnel to establish business needs and define software system requirements. Communicate with users to identify needs for new processes, applications, or changes to existing ones. Configure systems, document business workflows, and create project documentation with meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational abilities. Design test plans and carry out testing, creating comprehensive System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) test cases. Collaborate closely with developers to monitor and resolve defects, assisting in identifying application-related issues. Create thorough specifications for resolving issues to enhance system performance and precision. Perform technical and analytical evaluations to assess system functionality and resolve production issues with clients. Collect, analyze, and create data visualization requirements to support data warehousing. Help create, uphold, and enforce global standards, while also performing other analysis and documentation tasks as needed to assist team projects.

Qualifications

1. 4years of experience with system integrations and data exchange interfaces. 2. 4years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Visio. 3. 4years of experience analyzing data from a variety of source systems and different database technologies using SQL. 4. 4years of experience with data mapping and transformation. 5. 4years of experience with interface and architecture design and documentation. 6. 4years of experience converting business requirements into technical specifications. 7. 4years of experience gathering, analyzing, and generating data visualization requirements for a data warehouse. 8. 4years of experience writing detailed test cases and test scenarios. 9. 4years of demonstrated understanding of end-to-end systems validation. 10. 4years of experience writing SIT and UAT test plans. 11. 4years of experience working on a data warehouse team utilizing both relational and dimensional models, including DB2. 12. 4years of experience translating requirements into data visualization needs. 13. 4years of experience with XML, JSON, and API integrations. 14. 4years of familiarity with REST and SOAP services and secure data exchange methods, including SFTP and certificate-based security.
