System Architect

Job Description

We are seeking a System Architect to define and maintain our integration strategy, focusing on REST, Events, APIs, and Data Feeds. You will design standard integration patterns for real-time, on-demand, and hybrid workflows. Leading technical workshops with customers and partners to gather requirements, you'll align integrations with domain boundaries, data contracts, and security standards. Responsibilities include governing message contracts, event schemas, versioning, and error-handling. Enforcing security best practices (OAuth2, mTLS, Azure AD, Key Vault) and overseeing monitoring, observability, and integration reliability. You will serve as a technical consultant for assigned domains, shaping domain models and defining APIs and event contracts. Evaluating epics and initiatives for architectural feasibility and supporting teams with design, technology selection, and patterns. Participating in architecture reviews and coaching teams on DDD and Clean Architecture. Maintaining architecture diagrams and supporting troubleshooting for complex system issues. Contributing to the long-term architecture vision and participating in pre-sales activities.

Qualifications

1. 10+ years in software engineering, with 5+ years in architecture roles within enterprise SaaS 2. Experience with integration architectures (Azure Service Bus, Event Hubs, Azure Functions, REST APIs, Webhooks) 3. Practical knowledge of microservices and event-driven architectures 4. Solid understanding of Domain-Driven Design and Clean Architecture 5. Proven ability to produce high-quality technical documentation and diagrams (Miro, Lucid, C4, Event Catalog) 6. Comfortable in customer-facing technical discussions 7. Strong background in Azure Cloud services 8. Ability to enforce architectural standards through ADRs, reviews, and quality gates 9. Familiarity with governance, audit logging, and proactive system health monitoring 10. Ability to collaborate with Product and Delivery teams to align architecture with the roadmap and business vision 11. Fluent English
