Support Engineer, SAP ABAP – BTP

Job Description

Join our global customer support team as a Support Engineer, providing remote support for mission-critical SAP applications. You will troubleshoot and support multiple SAP modules for global clients using 4.x and ECC environments. Diagnose issues, develop fixes, and ensure a consistent user experience in collaboration with department professionals. Write code using ABAP, conduct usability tests, and ensure programs are completed on schedule, providing technical support to end-users through troubleshooting guidelines.

Qualifications

1. 5+ years of experience in ABAP and FIORI programming and SAP modules. 2. 5+ years of experience in BTP (administration and integration skills). 3. 3+ years knowledge of SAP systems such as FI/CO, MM and SD. 4. Prior experience in object-oriented programming, ABAP lists and other related fields. 5. A track record of successful bug free codes written for clients. 6. Hands-on experience with SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry, Destinations, Connectivity , CI/CD pipelines). 7. Design and exposure of OData/REST APIs and API Management on BTP. 8. Experience with SAP CAP (Node/Java) and ABAP RAP programming models. 9. Proven ability to develop and troubleshoot Brazil localization requirements (Nota Fiscal, tax determination, fiscal document processing). 10. Advanced performance analysis and optimization using SAP tools (SQLM, ST05, SAT, ATC). 11. Collaboration with BW/Analytics teams (custom extractors, ETL routines, error handling). 12. Security best practices for ABAP and BTP developments (authorization checks, secrets management, audit logging). 13. Experience working in highly customized environments (Z routines, user-exits, enhancements). 14. Ability to handle critical incidents and working under SLA-driven environments. 15. Proven track record in documentation and knowledge transfer activities (such as KT sessions, producing runbooks, and solution documentation).
