Subject Matter Expert, Insurance – German Speaker

Job Description

Become a Subject Matter Expert and collaborate with AI, data science, and product teams to assess AI models used in insurance processes like underwriting, claims, risk assessment, and pricing. Pinpoint gaps, biases, and limitations in existing models, offering insights for refinement. Evaluate AI outputs against real-world insurance practices, regulatory mandates, and customer experience benchmarks. Establish key metrics and success criteria for measuring model performance and business relevance. Support data labeling and annotation with insurance-specific context. Aid in designing explainable AI frameworks to boost model transparency and trustworthiness. Keep up-to-date with insurance regulations, compliance standards, and emerging AI applications.

Qualifications

1. Advanced skills in German language 2. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Actuarial Science, Business, or a related field 3. 7+ years of experience in the insurance industry (underwriting, claims, risk modeling, or product management) 4. Strong understanding of insurance operations, policy structures, and regulatory frameworks 5. Experience collaborating with cross functional teams
