Job Description
As a Strategic Sourcing Specialist, you will: - Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Category Management, Legal, and Compliance to gather essential information and define requirements. - Use gathered insights to develop effective negotiation strategies. - Provide recommendations for optimal market approaches. - Select appropriate contract templates. - Draft and execute contracts that protect Intermountain's interests while mitigating potential risks. - Negotiate pricing and contract terms. - Manage sourcing projects and work requests efficiently. - Ensure accurate and timely contract repository entries. - Collaborate on defining business requirements, content scope, and quality measures for sourcing initiatives. - Set strategic direction and establish realistic milestone timelines in collaboration with internal customers.
Qualifications
To succeed as a Strategic Sourcing Specialist, you should have: 1. A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred. 2. Two years of direct experience in strategic sourcing or procurement is preferred. 3. Proven experience in project management, prioritizing tasks, and thriving in a fast-paced business environment. 4. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service within a team setting. 5. General digital proficiency and expertise in office technology tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
