Strategic Sourcing Specialist

Job Description

Seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to manage sourcing functions for a facilities management platform. Responsibilities include: - Creating, issuing, and evaluating Sourcing Events (RFI/RFP/Targeted Quoting/Direct Negotiation). - Partnering with the Manager, Strategic Sourcing, to finalize price, quality, and delivery for customer requirements through negotiation. - Implementing sourcing strategies in consultation with the Manager, Strategic Sourcing. - Developing expertise in facility maintenance trades across all customers. - Building and maintaining relationships with key Service Providers, Equipment Manufacturers, and Part Suppliers. - Collaborating with Sales, Account Management, and Operations to ensure cross-functional collaboration. - Working with Marketplace Operations to identify best-in-class providers. - Supporting Sales by providing directional/estimate pricing for potential clients. - Identifying opportunities to reduce cost or add value to existing Preventative Maintenance programs.

Qualifications

Seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist with: 1. 3+ years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Contract Negotiation, and Vendor Management. 2. Facility Maintenance and Trade sourcing experience (a plus). 3. Problem-solving skills to identify and solve complex problems. 4. Experience working with large complex Service Providers. 5. Thought leadership and communication skills to influence decision-making. 6. Proven ability to work well with cross-functional teams (Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, and Product). 7. A can-do, positive, and inspiring attitude. 8. Excellent influencing and negotiation skills. 9. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. 10. Self-directed and motivated. 11. BA degree (preferably in Business or Supply Chain Management).
