Staff Data Analyst

Job Description

Become a key player in building Boulevard's product data infrastructure, collaborating with the Product Development team to define essential data capture strategies. Partner closely with Product to deliver data-driven insights that shape strategy and guide action. Develop scalable, user-friendly dashboards, enabling teams to explore data independently and make well-informed strategic decisions. Conduct thorough exploratory analyses to deepen the understanding of customers and their interactions with the product. Act as a vital link between product data and the broader organization. Establish team processes and analytical workflows that ensure data accuracy and scalability as the function expands.

Qualifications

1. Possess 8+ years of experience in data or product analytics within a B2B SaaS or high-growth tech environment, including substantial experience in early-stage or data-immature settings. 2. Demonstrate proficiency in data analysis and BI tools such as SQL, Python, Snowflake, and Sigma; possess strong data modeling skills. 3. Have direct experience in designing and implementing product instrumentation strategies, including defining event schemas, creating tracking plans, and ensuring reliable data capture in collaboration with product and engineering teams. 4. Exhibit expertise in developing dashboards and visualizations using platforms like Sigma, Looker, Tableau, or similar, with a proven history of creating self-service tools that teams actively utilize. 5. Show significant experience in collaborating directly with product managers and leaders, translating data findings into actionable insights and strategic trade-offs that drive roadmap investment. 6. Demonstrate the capability to design and execute in-depth analyses across the entire product lifecycle, including funnel diagnostics, cohort and retention modeling, and behavioral segmentation. 7. Communicate clearly and confidently with stakeholders at all levels. 8. Display a high level of ownership with a proven ability to manage projects end-to-end, identify opportunities, navigate ambiguity, and build scalable processes. 9. Have a proven track record of cross-functional collaboration and leveraging product data to influence leadership decisions and outcomes.
