Staff Accountant II, Finance & Accounting
Job Description
As a Staff Accountant II, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations. This involves preparing account reconciliations in multiple currencies, with a focus on cash and treasury management, and entering journal entries. You will conduct transactional analysis, review internal controls, and meet monthly close deadlines for timely and accurate financial reporting. Additionally, you'll assist with global bank and petty cash reconciliations, training finance administrative staff at Study Centers, and preparing documentation for the annual audit. Collaborating with the Treasury Manager, you will provide support as needed to maintain sound financial practices.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent discipline is essential. 2. A robust understanding of accounting practices and GAAP is required. 3. A minimum of 3-4 years of related and progressively responsible experience is necessary. 4. Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and resolve variances is vital. 5. ERP financial software experience is required; NetSuite experience is a plus. 6. Strong Excel skills, including proficiency in VLookups and Pivot Tables, are required. 7. Ability to work independently, conduct research, and problem-solve is essential. 8. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are mandatory. 9.
