SQL DBA, Application Support Specialist

Job Description

As the main contact for Leap clients, you'll address database health and application performance issues. Use Azure DevOps to manage and troubleshoot automated deployment pipelines. You'll also be the technical lead for client installations, guaranteeing a seamless transition and top-notch integration. Maintain total ownership of SQL Server environments, fine-tuning performance, indexing, performing backups, and applying security patches to ensure 100% platform uptime. Keep an eye on and manage the Azure resources (App Services, Azure SQL, Functions) that power the Leap platform. Locate bottlenecks in the Leap data layer and put automated maintenance procedures in place to make sure the platform grows with client demand.

Qualifications

1. Extensive experience as a SQL Database Administrator (T-SQL, SSMS, Performance Tuning, and Optimization). 2. Practical experience with Azure Cloud and Azure DevOps. (Azure DevOps certification is a significant plus). 3. Strong scripting experience (PowerShell, T-SQL, etc.) to automate deployments and maintenance. 4. Ability to support a .NET tech stack from an infrastructure perspective (identifying errors without the requirement to write code). 5. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical issues to client stakeholders.
