Initially focus on Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI) with a pathway to advance into Video Remote Interpretation (VRI). Qualifications

1. Experience: 6 months to 1 year minimum of professional experience in remote medical interpretation. 2. English Proficiency: Minimum C1 fluency. We accept valid certifications from EF SET (4-Skill), TOEFL, or CAE. 3. Medical Interpretation Certification: You must provide proof of medical interpreter knowledge issued within the last 12 months. Accepted certifications include: ALTA: Minimum score of 9 required. LanguageStat (PICSI): Passing score of 75–80% required. 4. Core Skills: Complete mastery of medical and customer service terminology. 5. Compliance: Must currently hold, or be willing to obtain, HIPAA and FWA (Fraud, Waste, and Abuse) certifications. 6. Background Check: Willingness to successfully complete a standard background check via email. Rephrased: 1.
