Solutions Engineer – EMEA

Job Description

Become a Solutions Engineer at DoiT and help organizations optimize their cloud data platforms! In this role, you'll collaborate with sales teams to understand customer needs, conduct technical validations, and deliver compelling platform demonstrations. You'll also leverage your analytical skills to develop business cases and ROI analyses, showcasing the value of DoiT's solutions. As a go-to expert, you'll guide customers through implementation, address technical requirements, and build confidence in the solution. You'll represent DoiT at industry events, translate customer feedback for R&D teams, and contribute to internal business support solutions.

Qualifications

1. 5+ years of experience in a Solutions Engineering role within a B2B SaaS software company, focused on selling to Snowflake, Databricks and BigQuery users. 2. Deep understanding of Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery and associated best practices. 3. Hands-on experience with SaaS solutions focusing on Cloud Data Platforms in observability, optimization, FinOps, or data integration. 4. Exceptional data analysis skills with the ability to identify key trends and translate them into actionable insights. 5. Strong track record of leveraging product data to construct compelling business cases and ROI justifications. 6. Exceptional ability to articulate complex Cloud Data Platform concepts in a clear and understandable manner. 7. Outstanding communication skills, with the expertise to present on Cloud Data Platform optimization strategies. 8. Strong intellectual curiosity and a passion for continuous learning within the Snowflake/Databricks/BigQuery ecosystem. 9. Proven experience presenting to executive-level prospects and customers on Cloud Data Platforms and cost management. 10. Demonstrated experience with modern technical selling best practices and a successful track record in competitive sales environments. 11. Prior experience as a Snowflake/Databricks/BigQuery data engineer/architect or FinOps professional is a plus. 12. A proven history of success in a fast-paced and scaling business.
