Solutions Engineer

Job Description

Join ALICE Technologies as a Solutions Engineer and partner with Account Executives to support qualified opportunities through the pre-sales cycle. Lead technical discovery to understand prospect workflows, planning processes, constraints, and pain points. Deliver value-based product demonstrations tailored to customer use cases. Guide technical validations, workshops, and proof-of-value engagements. Translate technical findings into business value and help improve internal messaging and product direction. Support internal enablement by helping AEs improve their technical fluency and demo confidence.

Qualifications

1. 5+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering / Sales Engineering in B2B SaaS or Construction planning, scheduling, project controls, or project management. 2. Experience with construction technology in a client-facing or technical role. 3. Strong understanding of construction workflows and project delivery realities. 4. Experience with scheduling and planning tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Asta Powerproject, or similar platforms. 5. Ability to run consultative conversations and connect technical detail to customer value. 6. Excellent presentation, communication, and facilitation skills. 7. Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, especially when working from incomplete or ambiguous project data. 8. Comfortable learning new software quickly and becoming a product expert. 9. Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-moving environment with high ownership.
