Solutions Architect

Job Description

Seeking a Solutions Architect to define the reference architecture for microservice-based solutions, aligning with the organization's tech strategy. You'll establish and maintain technical standards for app development, integration, monitoring, and security. Supporting dev teams in implementing microservices, you will promote design, versioning, testing, and API documentation best practices. You'll assess system performance, scalability, and resilience, proposing improvements, and work on service orchestration and observability, focusing on availability, logging, and metrics. Evaluate new technologies, finding opportunities for architectural evolution, and support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices integrated with the microservices architecture. Ensure compliance with information security and API governance.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree. 2. Proven experience in software architecture and microservices modeling. 3. Strong knowledge of integration via REST APIs, messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.), and event-driven architecture. 4. Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). 5. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). 6. Knowledge of automation and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, etc.). 7. Experience with monitoring and observability (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK). 8. Proficiency with modern frameworks and languages such as Java/Spring Boot, Python, .NET Core, and Node.js. Desired Qualifications: 1. Certifications in software architecture or cloud (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect). 2. Knowledge of event-driven architecture (EDA) and CQRS/Event Sourcing. 3. Experience with API Gateway and Service Mesh (Kong, Istio, Linkerd, etc.). 4. Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible).
