Solution Engineering Manager
Job Description
SailPoint is looking for a Solution Engineering Manager to lead and develop a team. The responsibilities include: - Leading, mentoring, and motivating a high-performing Solution Engineering team to achieve set goals. - Managing team and individual performance, ensuring high performance levels are maintained. - Applying strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with management consulting skills, to influence perspectives and gain buy-in from various client groups. - Enhancing SailPoint's sales strategies and processes, including creating effective product presentations and demonstrations. - Identifying training gaps and creating programs to improve the Sales Engineering team's sales, product, and technical skills. - Collaborating with Regional Sales Directors on account planning, strategy, and sales activities. - Delivering timely feedback to corporate functions such as field sales, product management, and marketing. - Nurturing relationships with product teams and key decision-makers both internally and externally.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following: 1. A strong understanding of SaaS solutions. 2. Knowledge or experience in Identity and key identity principles. 3. Familiarity with AI-driven solutions. 4. Excellent communication skills, including experience presenting to technical and business audiences. 5. 5+ years of experience as a sales engineering manager and 5+ years as a sales engineer. 6. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. 7. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is preferred.
