Solution Consultant – Pre-Sales Engineer

Job Description

As a Solution Consultant at Skedulo, you will: * Conduct technical and functional discovery to deeply understand customer needs, workflows, and success criteria. * Present compelling, value-focused product demonstrations tailored to specific use cases. * Clearly explain how Skedulo addresses customer challenges through structured communication and expert consultation. * Support the preparation of responses to RFPs, security questionnaires, and technical evaluations. * Help define solution scope, underlying assumptions, and any constraints, aligning with product capabilities. * Collaborate with the Sales team on qualified opportunities to facilitate deal progression and successful closure. * Proactively identify and address potential deal risks, integration complexity, or possible misalignments early in the sales process. * Collaborate closely with Professional Services to ensure smooth transitions from presales to delivery.

Qualifications

To succeed as a Solution Consultant, you should have: 1. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. 2. 3-5 years of experience in a client-facing, consulting, or presales role. 3. 1-3 years of experience supporting SaaS solutions in a presales or technical consulting capacity. 4. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. 5. The capacity to articulate complex technical concepts to a broad audience. 6. Over 10 years of experience in SaaS presales, strategic consulting, and/or high-growth startup environments. 7. Proven ability to design, implement, and scale solution frameworks that address customer pain points, improving presales effectiveness.
