Software Sales Engineer
Job Description
Become a key player by partnering with Account Executives to navigate deal cycles across various industries, addressing critical business challenges. Spearhead the technical discovery phase, pinpointing prospect/customer pain points and aligning solutions with their objectives. Take the lead on technical aspects within the sales cycle. This includes crafting technical proposals, handling RFP/RFIs, participating in sales meetings, leading workshops, and showcasing One Identity products as a subject matter expert. Collaborate with Product Management to provide valuable feedback based on customer interactions. Team up with Product Marketing to develop resources, enhance the knowledge base, and conduct training sessions to boost the technical understanding of current features among customers and Account Executives. Contribute to the growth of a dynamic SE organization. Assist in onboarding partners with One Identity solutions.
Qualifications
1. Possess a minimum of 5 years of Technical Solution Engineering/PreSales experience. 2. Demonstrate expertise in deploying and managing SaaS, Hybrid, and On-Premise solutions within the IAM space (e.g., Sailpoint, Saviynt, Cyberark, Okta, JumpCloud). 3. Exhibit a strong understanding of SaaS, Hybrid, and On-Premise deployment methods, with a solid foundation in SaaS. 4. Have familiarity with core web technologies, including Ruby on Rails, Angular, Python, PHP, HTML/CSS, and REST. 5. Display a thorough grasp of the IT industry, competitive landscape, and key technologies. 6. Have knowledge of cybersecurity practices for safeguarding systems, networks, and digital identities. 7. Understand core security considerations within typical applications. 8. Be familiar with the Digital Identity domain and eager to expand knowledge. 9. Be acquainted with enterprise-level directory deployments and configurations. 10. Possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for delivering impactful presentations and product demonstrations to both external clients and internal teams.
