Job Description

We are seeking a Software Engineer to build, maintain, and scale the analytics platform infrastructure. This role involves designing and managing data ingestion pipelines to ensure a reliable and timely flow from multiple sources. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining containerized environments using Docker and orchestrating with Kubernetes. Collaboration with Analytics Engineers, Data Scientists, and Analysts is essential to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions. The role also includes monitoring platform performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing improvements for reliability and efficiency. Active participation in team knowledge-sharing sessions and internal workshops will promote best practices.

Qualifications

1. Proven commercial experience in Azure or other cloud platforms 2. Strong proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and pipeline development 3. Experience with data ingestion and orchestration tools such as Airbyte, Snowflake, or similar 4. Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) 5. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation (GitHub Actions or equivalent) 6. Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform 7. Exposure to dbt or similar data transformation tooling is a plus 8. Understanding of distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and platform scalability 9. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug production issues under pressure 10. Comfortable working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with multiple stakeholders
