Software Engineer – Infrastructure

Job Description

Join Airbnb as a Software Engineer and contribute to enhancing our search infrastructure. You'll be working on projects aimed at improving the search experience in collaboration with product teams. Elevate the reliability, scalability, and performance of our search system alongside Infrastructure teams. Utilize data within the Knowledge Graph to enrich product use-cases and refine existing data through measurement. Help build the next-generation search platform that powers diverse Airbnb products, including typeahead, contextualizing, and personalizing search results.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics is essential. 2. Exceptional coding abilities in Java and Python are required, along with a strong understanding of Algorithms and Data Structures. 3. A willingness to experiment, learn new concepts, and maintain a positive work attitude is highly desirable. 4. Contributions to open-source projects like Lucene or ElasticSearch are highly valued. 5. Strong technical writing skills are beneficial. 6. New Graduates may apply if they can demonstrate substantial coding experience and system-building skills.
