Software Engineer III

Job Description

We are looking for a Software Engineer III to develop data migrations, PeopleSoft SQR's and PERL scripts. You'll contribute to implementing the PeopleSoft Financial module (FSCM), create comprehensive technical documentation, and analyze existing systems for potential improvements. Responsibilities include data migration from Oracle to MS SQL databases, working with database administrators, and following agile Software Development Lifecycle processes in a DevSecOps environment. You will also collaborate with customers, project managers, and other developers to design and develop test cases, troubleshoot software production issues, assist with requirements gathering, and provide recommendations for continuous improvements and technical guidance.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s Degree in a related field. 2. 5 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. 3. Experience with PeopleSoft 9.x or higher. 4. Must pass a pre-employment background check. 5. Must pass pre-employment drug screening. 6. Applicants are required to have REAL ID ACT compliant documentation at time of hire and nothing on record that would prohibit you from gaining access to Department of Energy sites.
