Software Engineer – Go

Job Description

As a Software Engineer at Paddle, you'll be instrumental in crafting high-quality Go code within our extensive codebase, contributing to both established and cutting-edge services. Collaboration is key as you'll work alongside engineers and non-technical team members, leveraging your strong written and verbal communication skills. You'll take ownership of building features from inception and planning to successful deployment. Your contributions will directly enhance the quality, reliability, and performance of Paddle's high-traffic event-driven system. You will be responsible for ensuring code reaches production, providing continuous support, monitoring performance, and optimizing our AWS infrastructure.

Qualifications

1. Experience with Go is essential (our interview process is based on Go). 2. A proactive approach to identifying code improvements and team process enhancements. 3. Strong attention to detail and the ability to foresee edge cases, while remaining independent in problem-solving. 4. Pride in the quality of your work. 5. Intellectual curiosity about the convergence of payments, finance, and technology.
