Software Architect

Job Description

Seeking a Software Architect to spearhead our development team, setting standards and making key architectural decisions for a cutting-edge data management platform. Responsibilities include: - Providing technical leadership to the development team. - Defining and implementing end-to-end software architecture. - Creating detailed technical documentation for architecture. - Establishing development, versioning, and continuous integration standards. - Ensuring adherence to cloud architecture best practices. - Supporting load, performance, and security testing strategies. - Evaluating and suggesting architectural improvements. - Promoting technical alignment across development, data, and infrastructure teams. - Supporting the specification of non-functional requirements.

Qualifications

We are looking for a Software Architect with: 1. A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field. 2. A postgraduate degree in IT OR 6 certifications in expertise or agile methodologies. 3. Experience defining end-to-end software architecture. 4. Knowledge of cloud architecture best practices. 5. Experience with load testing, performance tuning, and application optimization. 6. Experience with security testing and secure development practices. 7. Experience producing technical architecture documentation. 8. Experience in technical leadership of development teams. 9. Familiarity with AWS. 10. Experience with Python and FastAPI. 11. Experience with React and JavaScript. 12. Experience with security tools and practices like SAST, DAST, and penetration testing. 13. Experience with load testing tools like JMeter.
