Job Description
We're seeking a Social Media Manager to build and oversee our brand's presence on various platforms. This includes developing a monthly content calendar for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, Google Business Profile, Nextdoor, and LinkedIn, ensuring content aligns with seasonal trends, local happenings, and promotional activities. Consistent posting across all platforms is key. Responsibilities involve shooting and editing engaging short-form videos, reels, before-and-after content, and photos. You'll craft compelling captions and ad copy designed to convert viewers. Additionally, you'll design graphics using tools like Canva Pro or Adobe Express. Promptly responding to comments, DMs, and reviews while maintaining our brand's voice is crucial. This role also requires engaging with local Boston communities, creators, and businesses to foster relationships. You'll track and report weekly performance metrics and provide monthly strategy insights, using data to refine and optimize our content strategies. A consistent brand voice that is approachable, hardworking, and Boston-proud must be maintained in all content and interactions.
Qualifications
1. 2+ years of experience in social media management (brand, agency, or personal brand). 2. In-depth knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts. 3. Proven ability to grow accounts organically. 4. Self-motivated and capable of executing tasks independently. 5. Exceptional copywriting abilities for captions, replies, and ad copy. 6. Creative mindset to adapt ideas from diverse industries.
