Snowflake Data Architect

Job Description

Assume the role of a Snowflake Data Architect to design and manage end-to-end data platforms, ensuring high performance and scalability. Lead data modelling for analytical and financial reporting needs. Implement ETL/ELT pipelines and collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into effective data architecture. Ensure best practices in Snowflake implementation, focusing on performance, security, and storage. Develop advanced SQL and Python scripts for data transformation. Integrate DevOps practices and provide architectural leadership to data engineers.

Qualifications

1. 7+ years of experience in data engineering, including at least 3 years architecting Snowflake solutions. 2. Strong expertise in SQL and performance tuning for large analytical workloads. 3. Deep understanding of Snowflake architecture. 4. Proven experience with data modelling. 5. Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT and orchestration tools. 6. Fluency in Python or similar scripting languages. 7. Solid understanding of DevOps practices in data environments. 8. Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance in cloud environments. 9. Strong communication skills. 10. Fluency in English. 11. Must be Europe-based and able to work as a contractor.
