Job Description

Join our team as a Snowflake Administrator and take the lead in designing and implementing secure, robust Snowflake platforms and pipelines. You will manage Snowflake environments, enforce security and compliance, and automate processes using Infrastructure as Code. Build observability dashboards, optimize costs, and provide Level-3 support to ensure data workflows are efficient and reliable. Key Responsibilities: * Lead the design and implementation of Snowflake platforms and pipelines. * Manage Snowflake accounts/environments and resources. * Implement ingestion and orchestration patterns. * Enforce security and access governance. * Manage Snowflake objects as code and build Git-based promotion workflows. * Build observability dashboards and alerts. * Implement cost optimization guardrails. * Operate secure integrations with AWS, catalogs, and BI tools. * Provide Level-3 support and lead incident response. * Work independently on assignments in a GitOps-driven environment.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience). 2. At least 5 years of experience in platform or systems engineering. 3. 3+ years of hands-on Snowflake administration operating in cloud environments (AWS preferred). 4. Snowflake expertise across RBAC design, masking and row access policies, object tags, Streams/Tasks, Snowpipe/Kafka Connector, search optimization, materialized views, and replication/failover. 5. Expert understanding of AWS infrastructure components. 6. Production experience managing Infrastructure as Code frameworks such as Terraform and CloudFormation. 7. Proficiency with CI/CD tooling (GitHub and/or Azure DevOps), Git-based workflows, SQL, and one scripting language (Python, Go, Bash, or shell) for automation. 8. Strong grasp of Internet and cloud fundamentals, Linux/Windows administration basics, and IAM/KMS. 9. Expert knowledge in one or more DevOps disciplines such as code, CI, CD, operations, infrastructure, etc. 10. AWS, Kubernetes, or relevant certifications.
