SME Audit Analyst

Job Description

We are looking for an SME Audit Analyst to advise on audit and compliance engagements supporting DoD financial systems, including JTMS and related ERP or logistics platforms. Responsibilities include establishing and enforcing audit work standards, supporting Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) objectives, managing internal controls testing and risk assessments, and coordinating audit activities. The role also involves identifying recurring audit themes, recommending enhancements to financial system controls, and supporting the development of innovative service offerings.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. 2. Active Secret Clearance. 3. 12+ years of experience supporting DoD or federal financial audit engagements. 4. Demonstrated knowledge of DoD financial management environments, Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR), SOC-1 audit requirements, GAGAS standards, and Federal financial compliance frameworks.
