Site Reliability Engineer

Job Description

Enhance application performance as a Site Reliability Engineer at GoHealth Urgent Care. Monitor and optimize web applications for reliability and uptime. Collaborate with front-end and back-end developers for application health and efficient data flow. Triage customer support issues, perform root cause analysis, and minimize downtime. Lead efforts to remediate security vulnerabilities. Implement monitoring and alerting systems. Work with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless customer experiences. Maintain technical documentation and optimize Azure DevOps pipelines.

Qualifications

1. 4+ years of software development experience with a focus on application maintenance and reliability. 2. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent experience). 3. Experience remediating security vulnerabilities and implementing secure coding practices. 4. Proven ability to troubleshoot and optimize application performance. 5. Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools (e.g., New Relic, Datadog). 6. Hands-on experience with back-end technologies like Node.js, TypeScript, SQL/NoSQL. 7. Hands-on experience with front-end technologies like ReactJS and NextJS. 8. Strong experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines. 9. Familiarity with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (Azure preferred). 10. Familiarity with security frameworks (OWASP, CVSS). 11. Experience with automated testing and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).
