Job Description

We are looking for a ServiceNow Developer to lead the design, development, and implementation of complex ServiceNow applications, including custom modules, workflows, forms, and dashboards. As a ServiceNow expert, you will architect scalable and maintainable ServiceNow solutions aligned with organizational goals and platform best practices. Develop advanced client-side and server-side scripts using JavaScript and Glide APIs. Build reusable components and libraries to improve development efficiency and long-term maintainability. Design and implement integrations with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs. Develop and maintain integrations using IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, and custom scripting. Implement secure authentication mechanisms, including OAuth 2.0 and API keys. Collaborate with client leadership, project managers, and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Define and enforce ServiceNow development standards, governance policies, and best practices. Lead testing efforts including system testing, regression testing, and UAT. Optimize scripts, workflows, and integrations for performance, scalability, and reliability. Troubleshoot complex issues using ServiceNow diagnostic and monitoring tools. Support and optimize ServiceNow for service desk operations. Improve ticket workflows, SLAs, routing, and automation. Develop dashboards and reports to track KPIs, SLAs, and service performance. Plan and execute ServiceNow platform upgrades and ensure compatibility of customizations. Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications and configuration guides.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. 2. 5+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development, configuration, and architecture. 3. Advanced proficiency in JavaScript and Glide APIs (client-side and server-side). 4. Strong experience designing custom applications, workflows, forms, and dashboards. 5. Hands-on experience with UI Builder and modern ServiceNow technologies. 6. Proven experience building integrations using REST and SOAP APIs. 7. Knowledge of multiple ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, CSM, SecOps, GRC, PSDS). 8. Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 9. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 10. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. 11. CompTIA Security+ certification or ability to quickly obtain Active Secret clearance.
