Senior Working Capital Fund Accountant

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Working Capital Fund Accountant to provide technical leadership and strategic guidance for complex Department of Defense (DoD) financial operations. This role involves leading and executing financial management projects, analyzing complex financial challenges, and collaborating with stakeholders to drive alignment and decision-making. You will provide expert guidance on WCF accounting and financial management, facilitate working groups, and support audit readiness efforts. Additionally, you'll contribute to client deliverables with strategic insights and represent the organization in professional forums.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is essential. 2. A minimum of 10 years of experience in federal financial management or accounting is required. 3. Must have at least 3 years of experience supporting DoD Working Capital Fund operations, including accounting and budgeting. 4. A solid understanding of federal accounting standards such as SFFAS, OMB Circular A-11, and OMB Circular A-136 is needed. 5. An active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license issued by an accredited State Board of Accountancy is a must.
